Mission Report No 14

A Green Tree Frog. Cute little guy (or girl) hey!

Monday 20th June 2022

Seniors Zone Council this morning. Our last one with President and Sister Ence before they go home.

Tuesday 21st  - Wednesday 22nd June 2022

Mostly running around getting the new flat organised for Elders Dollery and Pollock.

Tuesday night was our last Temple Preparation class with Tammuz Fa'Aoso. As with all our students, it has been a pleasure teaching Tammuz. He hopes to have his missionary recommendation completed soon, so could be called to serve anywhere in the world before the end of the year.

We have been storing a spare fridge outside at our our unit, waiting for the time when we need to use it in a new flat. Margot was cleaning it out today and found this beautiful green tree frog sheltering in there. With a brush and shovel I very gently nudged it out of there and found a nicer home in our garden (see pic above).

Thursday 23rd June 2022

Tonight we attended our first Young Single Adult Institute class. Prior to the class we had out first YSA District committee meeting.

Friday 24th June

Quiet day at home. Margot not feeling too well

Saturday 25th June

Margot still not 100%. I went kiting, another attempt on the foil board. I had my first run out over the chop, flying above it instead of bashing my way through it. Much easier on the body, until I crash anyway! And a bonus - I loaned my kiteboard to another guy who didn't have a very good board, just a big old surfboard, not suitable for kiting at all really, and he bought it from me for $600.00! So I am really committed to foiling now!

Sunday 26th June 2022

Attended Branch 2 in the morning, picking up Sister Adidi Wigness, as she didn't have any way of getting there. In between meetings we drove out to Clifton Beach to bring Sister Leonie Stewart to Branch 1 meetings, as she was also without transport to get to Church. She is up here temporarily, staying with her son Brandon. I know her oldest son Justin, from many years ago when he shared a flat with me and a bunch of other single guys before I married Margot. Small world!

This evening attended the Missionary Prep class taught by Bro Jordan Luki.
